Swedish car maker, Volvo has launched its new S80 in India. Priced at Rs 37 lakh, (ex showroom Delhi), the premium sedan delivers 205 bhp and 420 Nm torque. The S80 is world's first premium executive cars emitting less than 120g/km of CO2, and giving a mileage of 13.1 kmpl.  Volvo sedan S80 will be sold through 12 dealers across India.

This premium model incorporates standard safety features from Volvo like Intelligent Driver Information System, Ready Alert Brakes that reduce braking distance in case of emergency and Adaptive Brake Lights. It also highlights superior technical features like maintenance free diesel particulate filter that efficiently reduces soot particles in exhaust gases and advanced emission control which contributes to low nitrogen oxide level.

Available in nine different colours, the exteriors paintings are water based to heighten usage of environmentally friendly solvents.
