International Cricket Council issued the ICC rankings for the Test matches yesterday. Gautham is India's highest ranked batsman in third place and Harbhajan Singh who is an off-spinner is at sixth place.

Gambhir topped the third place with 847 points and he is a left-hander from Delhi and followed by Sachin Tendulkar (13), VVS Laxman (15), and Virendar Sehwag (20).

 In bowlers list, Harbhajan ranks six, followed by Zaheer Khan (11) and Ishant Sharma (20).

 In team ranking, India is at number three with overall points of 117 behind top ranked Australia (128) and South Africa (119).
